Using this signal configuration, the following signals can for example be operated:
- Block signal + Zs1
- Entry signal + Zs1
- Main signal + stop signal
- Main signal + Zs2 + Zs3
- Exit signal + Zs1
- Exit signal + Zs2 + Zs3
Terminal 4 can alternatively be used either for "Emergency red" or for "Zs1".

Pass main signal indicating stop or faulty; the path of movement leads onto the section of track running opposite to the usual direction of movement.

Up to and including 60 km/h, the main signal indicates the Hp2 signal position. The additional signal Zs3 can indicate the reference numbers 2, 3, 5 or 6.
However, there is no number 4. In practice, usually number 6 is to be found as Zs3.
